White is always a winner. It reminds me of old heavy, cotton bed spreads that me mother inherited from a greataunt. Unfortunately all gonewho knows where.

That's a lot of work... but the kimono's have such lovely fabric in them. I can see why you want to use them! Are they hard to find?
