Newcastle-on-Clun to Brompton Crossroads

Phew. Today felt like a big day!

By about 11am I was ready to pack it in.

We had already walked up one big hill and had two to go.

Don't worry: snack bar to the rescue!

We passed the half way mark!!

U

See the top of those pines?

We walked from the top, down the valley and back up, mostly on or beside Offa's Dyke.

See the mound in the centre?

And here we are at the end of the day waiting for a lift 3 more miles off the path for our night's accommodation.

Total distance walked: 13 kilometres

  1. Hope your B&B was comfortable and you are re energised. Another wet and windy day here. And there was no water in your area this morning due to burst water main.
