A purple pleasant land

Bellingham to Byrness, 24 kilometres

I.did.not.put.on.my.raincoat.today!

Today we had a lovely walk over the moors and through the heather.

And through the biggest forest in Britain.

Beautiful.

Look at the colour of those toadstools.

And I had a laugh. Look how neat this washing line is.

I live in Houston, nothing here is much older than 100 years. Hadrian's Wall! My heart missed a beat!

  2. I found your blog by accident but I'm glad I did. I used to enjoy walking on the southern Pennine Way but now I live on the border of Wales so the Welsh hills are closer and beautiful too. Enjoy your walks.
