Getting ready

This week I delivered a couple of pieces for a group show.
It is very exciting to hang yourself out there for the public see.

Quick...

I am currenty taking part in an exhibition called "Weathering the Future".

It is a collaboration of artists and writers as described here ...

This is my contribution entitled "Opting out".

Melissa Watt has composed an ekphrastic piece as her description of my piece.

What do you think?

If you are local you have just a few days to view the exhibition at the Backspace Gallery in Ballarat.

Distracted

Are you easily distracted.

I have been happily going along

dealing with the mission at hand

when I thought :

"Maybe I'll try this in white?"

Oh yes, what fun. Why stop there?

I feel a series coming on....

Name suggestion?

I have to say that I am quite pleased with my latest completion.

It has taken quite few years.

I love it when people say:

"and how long did it take you?"

Well they won't be disappointed this time.

Why does a quilt need a name anyway?

Like children?

So you can keep track of them?

Any suggestion?

And the back story of course.

He's back

In case you are worried (as I have been)
the mountain climber is back safely.
He has been in Nepal and flew out on Friday.

That low peak in the centre is Mount Everest.
But back to me...
You might want to catch this

I am very excited to be part of this exhibition in Ararat.
You know if you are in Melbourne you can catch the train there.

Oh no, the artist talk
