Trip Around the World

I know there are some of you 

 out there 

 who are getting very excited about your own big trip

But my friends

and I 

have doing our own trips around the world.

Meanwhile back home

it's harvest time!

I think I will have to make some cards

OOPS!

Last SUNDAY we drove a couple of hours

 to attend a special  Wine and Food Festival Lunch at Mt Zero

only problem was 

the lunch was on SATURDAY!

BUT

They gave us the lunch anyway!

What a fabulous place.

It is a large olive farm located on the north-western side of the Grampians.

Superb views!

 

The cafe was perfect.

The mosaic at the top was embedded in the dirt floor. 

And how blue is that sky?

Now where was I?

Oh Yes.

I have been unpicking kimonos

to make a new quilt!

very plain

I know 

but this is just 2 woollen kimonos.

I am loving it.

What a weekend!

It has been a Long weekend here:

Labour Day holiday.

I need a rest now 

so I'll let the photos do the talking.

Should have left well enough
