un-stitching

 I am quite excited about a workshop I am going to in a few weeks

so I am unpicking....

 I am preserving the darns,

and the holes.

Swapped

I stay away from swaps altogether because this one flopped. 

I carefully picked out some precious vintage fabrics, 

paid a small fortune for postage

and then

nothing

But this time I went myself, 

face to face with the lovely Sophie

I swapped my first tea cosy for these beautiful bowls! 

Three of them! 

I am so rapt!

I made soup today so I could use them for the first time

French lentil and onion soup (from "The Age" August7)

and 

I finished another tea cosy this morning.

Trips

This "trip around the world" seems to be taking a lot longer than my last trip

but I'm getting there.

I have just

 finished it but 

I don't have a name for this quilt.

Any suggestions?
