Pocket pendants

Are these pocket pendants or pendant pockets.

 You know what this one is for?

I love making these little things.

Should I put them on etsy?

My friend Jan gave me a lovely length of dark blue cord

so I could make some more of these...

I am looking forward to my next work shop so I can wear my new "jewellery".

Can someone tell me, though,

WHY

when I have edited these photos (cropped, rotated, compressed)

BUT

when I blog they come out sideways??

Hibernation

I am having a sort of hibernation,

confined to quarters.

I am taking this time to get on with this quilt.

Am I blue?

Cutting edge?

Do you get anxious about starting a new quilt?

Cutting into the precious fabric?

Have I chosen the right colours?

I have cut out the entire quilt and now I am shading the colours

so here goes......

I sold all those pincushions at our exhibition

and I still don't have one

so time to make another.

Or two....

They are filled with crushed walnut shells

This gives the pincushin a lovely feel 

and

sharpens your pins!

Here they are with one of my favourite dresses:
more than a pincushion I would say.
I think I will list them here.

A little while ago I was playing with portable pincushions

Well I am still playing.

I am sick of going back and forth to the sewing machine

 with pins in my mouth so I started this exploration.

These are from my little Japanese remnants.....
