Day II

Today started out warm and sunny.

And then a great big storm blew in

but we kept stitching......

These pieces were worked blind-folded!

Day I

So I have pulled myself together for a big week.

I am at Textile Fibre Forum in Geelong

doing a workshop with Dorothy Caldwell.

quietly

These last few weeks I have just been quietly knitting....

I have finished this lovely soft black cardigan.

Thought I might include a thought from that lovely book, Be Happy 

 

Care

Too often we rush through life

and people and things seem like props in a movie.

Take time to look about you.

The important things will stand out.

These are the things to care about.

Quiet time

This week my brother, 5 sisters and I buried our father.

He died suddenly and quickly at the age of 91.

He went to sleep and didn't wake up.

What he had wished for.

I need some quiet time for now.

Almost done

I have almost finished the quilting on this quilt,

a lovely feeling.
