Trimmings

I have been working on my newest quilt
when not trying to master blogging from this iPad.
I just love all the little trimmings from cutting out the quilt.

This is the view from my window as I sit and sew.

And voila!
All in one piece.

I think I can.....

Well it has taken me a while

butI think I've got it.

I have done this on my iPad!

Who would have thought I would have to master all this technology at my age.

Easy really.

While I was living it up with my quilting buddies

the mountain climber was making quince paste.

Lots of it!

Can you help?

I bought an Ipad.
I love it
BUT
I can't blog from it.
If any one can tell me an easy way to get photos from "camera roll" on to a post I would be so grateful!

I will send you a selection of my cards....
Please help.
By the way I have already tried ipad support and blogger support and dropbox
and online forums
to name a few.

Quilting weekend

Do you like my pin cushion?
It's made from scraps from my current project.

I have been away with some of my quilting friends
 for the most wonderful weekend.

We went to Daylesford.
Lovely place.
Spectacular views!

And I sewed and  sewed.
Heaven!

I liked the last one

so much I thought i would make
another

Tea anyone?

Tuesday, May 8, 2012

Sometimes I just can't wait

to start a new quilt.

My head has been full of  my "blues"
which once again
I have unpicked and washed.
Not good weather on the weekend
so they dried inside.
Then...

a lot of piecing

But they stack up!
And I'm using the leftovers
as I go.

I drink a lot

of tea!
What were you thinking?
So when I started this back here
you may have wondered what on earth it was.

These are precious bits and pieces I save when making other quilts.
Is it "boro"?
The inside is probably neater than the outsde.

It is great for my favourite old tea pot

Which goes with the sugar bowl and milk jug I snapped up recently at the op shop.
