Christmas Eve

 Today is the last day of my 

 Advent Calender

so you know what
that means......

 Happy Christmas!

 Getting close now...

but

I did some thing realy STUPID on Tuesday

 With everything else I must do

I decided to tidy my "space"

I moved almost every thing out of the room...

The Mountain Climber was NOT happy when he came home and 

our entire living area was full of my precious stuff.....

 

My son and I pushed and dragged the furniture around

 and then put it all back

after a couple of trips to the shops to get storage containers

Now

I am very pleased with myself 

and I'm ready to get back to messing it up again 

as soon as

the Silly Season is over.

 I don't know where the time has gone

I have been so busy though.

We flew to Sydney last weekend for a wedding.

It was lovely.

The bride made the bouquets!

 

And  as it's almost Christmas  I thought I would show you my "crib"

Since I started quilting I have tried to make a 

new Christmas decoration

each year.

I have not dated them all

But I have got to the stage 

where there is not enough room to hang them all

or maybe

I need to get out the hammer and nails?

I had in mind I wanted a sun hat for the weekend

and I spent the whole day making this.

I made the largest size

but it's too small.

Never mind, it has gone to a good home.

Thought I would save you time and do three days at once.

I have decorated my tree....

my mother gave me these decorations when I first left home

a bit if a look around the room....  

and these were a gift from one of my "girls".

Our tree this year is a live Norfolk Pine.

It is a beautiful tree with sparse foliage.
