Etsy

I don't know if it is worth it.
This has taken me ages
and heavens knows how I will manage the postage
but look on the right....
I've got stuff on Etsy.

What do you think?
(Postage is only a problem if I sell something?)

Thank you!

Remember back here I told you about my wonderful day in Paris?
Now I am back home I had to show you my lovely present from my bloggy friend.
Proof it wasn't all a dream
especially as have gone from beautiful warm weather in France
to Winter down under.

These are my Winter blooms from my rosemary bush.

Janet Bolton and me

Here are a few more photos of my fabulous week in a workshop with Janet Bolton.

I have been a fan of Janet Bolton for longer than I have been stitching.
That is why I travelled half way round the world to do this workshop
and it was worth it!

How to waste time at the airport

I know.
Take a shower! And wash your hair.

LOVELY big shower so I might do something I never do
And dry my hair.
2 1/2 hours still to spare.
I wish they wouldn't keep trying the door..... I did lock it?
Still 3 hours till my plane.
I left Les Soeurs at 10.30, my train was delayed and here I am.

What about these garden shots at breakfast this morning?
I am very pleased with this tiny piece I made yesterday.

I'm still over here

I am going to a workshop over here this week
I am in 2 minds about blogging when I do a workshop.
You know: privacy and nice manners.
Suffice to say I am having a ball...
This is some of what I have been working on.
I find it hard to link things properly blogging like this so I will do a better post in a few days
but thanks for keeping me company on this trip!

Last walk

I left Paris yesterday morning but I thought you'd like to come a last stroll with me.

My hotel, Mama Shelter.

Then up to the local park

and back through Pere Lachaise Cemetery. I started my week with a walk through here. There are graves of many famous people here but I paid homage at the grave of Jim Morrison. It is a well worn path.

I found the memorials to prisoners of war camps moving, here Aucshwitz

and here Bergen Belsen.

But life goes on even in a cemetery.

Patisserie?

Let them eat cake.

So what do you have for tea when you have had a big lunch?

A nice pastry.
