In spite of the many distractions
I have been peacefully stitching....
and I am almost done.
Not sure which way is up though.
I love these blues.
The fabric is from old (or not so old) japanese futon covers.

You know when you are doing the touristy thing,
trying to take photos, waiting for a clear shot
and someone always photobombs it?
Well, since I have been trying my hand at drawing and watercolour I welcome them!
I think a few people add context, don't you?
And then there was the day we took a local train.
The plan was to board a local train for a 2 hour journey and I must admit the idea had me worried.....
no air conditioning, crowded, who knows?
Well there was no need to fear. It was not crowded, there were fans, a few locals and I was colour coordinated!
And meeting the locals was fun.
And when was the last time you hung our the train door?
It seems everyday was loaded with a new and different thrill.
Our night in the desert was magnificent,
and luxurious.
We were roused before dawn with a cup of tea.
Beautiful!
Unlike my previous holiday posts these ones are just going to be random photo montages.
I thought the walking holiday was tough but a bus tour is really full on leaving me to tired to keep you posted at night so this way I am going to post random things...
