Series

You know you can do workshops in working in a series?

I think it comes naturally.....

You start with one and think next time I'll......

and then text time I'll.....

and there. A series.

And then I think, I ought to keep a record.

Should I give them signs?

Maybe I should make some new ones.....

Exhibition over

My little exhibition has been over for more than a week
and I am trying to get back to my routine.
I have unpacked. Sort of.
I also found time to continue this series.
Skipping.
Girl on a bike.
Girl with a suitcase.
Girl with a pram.
Girls walking the dog.
They are about the size of a postcard and you can find them on my Etsy.

Distracted

Are you easily distracted.

I have been happily going along

dealing with the mission at hand

when I thought :

"Maybe I'll try this in white?"

Oh yes, what fun. Why stop there?

I feel a series coming on....

Big Sky

 I just can't help myself.
Making these little pictures is so addictive.

the two above are not quite completed as I think I need to add some detail.
I have the scraps are spread out on my sewing table and I start fiddling on yet another one.
And two does not make a series.

So here is a third one.
These are about the size of your old panorama printed photos.
Remember them?

Latest tea cosy

This would have to be my favourite so far.

I am really enjoying making my tea cosies again. Why?

They allow me to work in a series (people give materclasses on that).

I work freehand making decisions as I go.

I love needle turn appliqué.

I am testing out various threads for quilting.

They are portable.

While not that quick they don't take that long and who doesn't like a finished project?

And it allows me to venture into Etsy in a small way.
