Stairway to Heaven

I always wanted to do a whole cloth quilt but not one from printed purchased cloth. The task of getting a design onto the fabric has always seemed too hard. Instead I decided to do white quilts  and play with the contrast. Then lots of quilting. So here is one of them,

and more to come because I just love the subtlety of the "colour".

Couldn't spell "subtle' so I looked in the dictionary: a fine distinction.

But I put in a touch of blue so that the binding blended.
